As current public health orders do not allow for in-person concert events, BS&F has adjusted to offer our eighth season online as a Digital Concert Series. What does this mean for you? You are now able to enjoy our music from home! Please note that these digital concerts are free and accessible to all, as our gift to you.
Byron Schenkman says, “I’m really enjoying working with our whole design and production team to create digital performances that capture the essence of our live BS&F concerts. I am grateful to get to work with such sweet, thoughtful, dedicated, and wonderfully talented people!”
Pre-recorded concert videos will premiere on specific Sundays at 7pm Pacific time. These full concerts will be available indefinitely so you can choose to view them anytime. No registration or codes are necessary, just click the “Watch” button found on each individual concert page on our website and it will take you directly to our YouTube page. You can also go directly to YouTube and search for “Byron Schenkman & Friends” to find our page there with all currently available concert videos and short clips.
We encourage you to join us online for the concert premieres where we can gather remotely to enjoy music together. A live chat room will be available where you can say hello to fellow concert attendees or ask a question about the music or instruments.
Says Byron, “It’s really important to me to create a space in which people can connect through music. Moving to this digital format has been an interesting challenge to say the least! What I love about it is getting to interact with the whole community through the chat box at the premieres. It’s great connecting with friends far and wide who wouldn’t be able to be in a room together (even without the pandemic). At our October premiere we had friends tuning in from all across the United States, Canada, and even Australia!”
You also may choose to watch a previously aired concert ahead of a new concert premiere, or join us on Instagram when we stream live interviews with musicians before a new premiere. Not able to join for an online premiere event? No problem, you can still enjoy a digital concert afterwards at your own convenience.
