Sound Salon is happy to announce the upcoming 2023-2024 Season with seven concerts, including four performances at Benaroya Hall and three new online concert premieres. This season embodies Sound Salon’s commitment to building an increasingly inclusive and diverse community through thoughtfully programmed performances that welcome, engage, and inspire. Sound Salon 2023-2024 Season In-person Concert Series will consist of four performances at Benaroya Hall:
|October 1||Baroque Meets Karuk: 17th-century sonatas and Karuk songs for strings and harpsichord|
|December 28||Splendor of the Baroque: Festive music for flute, violin, viol, theorbo, and harpsichord|
|February 11||Sweeter than Roses: English Baroque love songs for voice, oboe, viol, and harpsichord|
|April 14||Mozart and Friends: Beloved classics for violin, cello, and four-hand piano|
Season subscriptions are now available for purchase at the Benaroya Hall ticket office (206) 215-4747 or email@example.com. Individual tickets go on sale June 15, 2023. $48 for Regular Price, $43 for Seniors, and $10 for Youth and Students.

The virtual concert series and YouTube channel offerings embody Sound Salon’s commitment to greater equity and inclusion on stage, and in the audience. Concerts are followed by a live virtual Q&A with artists to which all are invited. This and the library of past virtual concerts, movements, and pieces are available for all with no access restrictions on @TheSoundSalon YouTube Channel.
About Sound Salon (formerly Byron Schenkman & Friends) brings a diverse set of 21st-century perspectives to artistically excellent ensemble music, inspired by European traditions of the 17th through 19th centuries. The name Sound Salon expresses the music organization’s surroundings, its purpose, and its community. Byron Schenkman is Sound Salon’s Artistic Director.
